With so many new MLM companies starting up every day, it’s sometimes hard to determine which ones are legit and which ones aren’t.
Choosing an online business to invest in is a big decision that shouldn’t be made without the proper research.
You want to be sure that the money you invest will work for you, and not the other way around.
This review will help you make that decision by providing you everything you need to know about the company, the products and the compensation plan.

CryptoGold Review – The Company
The CryptoGold website does not offer any information about who owns or operates the business.
The company website domain was registered as “krypto-gold.com” on the 29th of July, 2016.
Michael Bauer, out of Cologne, Germany is listed as the owner.
CryptoGold has a second website set up as “cryptogold.de” with an address in Dubai, where Sascha Senft is credited as an additional Director of the company.
CryptoGold Reviews – The Products
CryptoGold does not have any retail products or services.
Affiliates who sign up with CryptoGold can only market the affiliate membership.
The CryptoGold Compensation Plan
CryptoGold affiliates wanting to participate in the compensation plan must invest in $50, $100 or $500 shares for a daily ROI.
Paid in bitcoin, this daily ROI fluctuates from day-to-day.
Referral commissions are earned and paid on downline investment, through a combination of direct and residual models.
Affiliate Ranks
There are 5 affiliate ranks within the company compensation plan.
Each rank has its own respective qualification criteria, which is as follows:
- Silver – Sign up and invest at least $500
- Gold – Sponsor at least 5 Silver affiliates who have each sponsored at least 2 Silver affiliates and have a total downline investment volume of at least $10,000
- Platinum – Sponsor at least 3 Gold affiliates and have a total downline investment volume of at least $50,000
- Diamond – Sponsor at least 2 Platinum affiliates and have a total downline investment volume of at least $200,000 ($50,000 a month minimum to maintain Diamond rank)
- White Diamond – Sponsor at least 2 Diamond affiliates and have a total downline investment volume of at least $1,500,000 ($200,000 a month minimum to maintain White Diamond rank)
It should be noted that no more than 50% of required volume can come from any single recruitment leg.
Residual Commissions
Affiliates who have invested a minimum of $500 are paid to sponsor new affiliates who also invest.
Recruitment commissions are earned residually through a binary compensation structure.
A binary compensation structure puts an affiliate at the top of a binary team that splits into a left and right side.
Level 1 of the binary team holds 2 positions and level 2 is created by adding another 2 positions under each of the first two, for a total of 4 positions.
Additional binary team levels are added as needed, with each new level holding twice as many positions as the level above it.
Binary team positions are filled by direct and indirect sponsorship of affiliates, with no current limit as to how deep the team can grow.
Every investment made by binary team affiliates correlates to a set number of points as follows:
- $50 investment = 0.5 points
- $100 investment = 1 point
- $500 investment= 5 points
CryptoGold counts up these points that are generated on each side of the team at the end of every day.
Every time 25 points are generated and matched on both sides of the binary team, a $200 commission is earned.
Residual binary commissions are capped each day based on a the affiliate’s rank:
- Silver – $800
- Gold – $1000
- Platinum – $1200
- Diamond – $1600
- White Diamond – $2000
Matching Bonus
Residual binary commissions that are earned by an affiliate’s downline can earn a Matching Bonus, which is paid out through a unilevel compensation structure.
This type of compensation structure puts an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team that places each personally sponsored affiliate right under them on level 1.
When a level 1 affiliate sponsors new affiliates, they are put on the 2nd level of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
When a level 2 affiliate sponsors new affiliates, they are put on the 3rd level, and this continues on down as many levels as are needed.
CryptoGold pays a $10 Matching Bonus on each residual binary commission, which is paid out on up to 8 unilevel levels.
The amount of levels that an affiliate can earn the Matching Bonus on depends on their rank:
- Silver – $10 Matching Bonus paid on 2 levels
- Gold – $10 Matching Bonus paid on 4 levels
- Platinum – $10 Matching Bonus paid on 5 levels
- Diamond – $10 Matching Bonus paid on 7 levels
- White Diamond – $10 Matching Bonus paid on 8 levels
For every $200 residual binary commission that is paid out, $80 is paid out up 8 levels.
Level-up Commissions
Level-up commissions are based on direct and indirect affiliate sponsorship.
Downline Team 1 is made up of the first 2 sponsored affiliates who invest.
Affiliates earn 6% on initial funds invested and 10% on follow-up investments by Downline Team 1 affiliates.
Downline Team 2 is made up of the 3rd, 4th and 5th sponsored affiliates who invest.
Affiliate earn 7% on initial funds invested and 12% on follow-up investments by Downline Team 2 affiliates.
Another 1% on initial funds invested and 2% on follow-up investments by the first 2 affiliates Downline Team 2 affiliates personally sponosr is also paid out.
The additional 1% and 2% commissions continue for the first 2 sponsored affiliates within Downline Team 2 down to infinity.
Downline Team 3 is made up of the 6th, 7th and 8th sponsored affiliates who invest.
To sum up, affiliates earn:
- 8% on initial funds invested by Downline Team 3 affiliates
- 15% on subsequent investments by Downline Team 3 affiliates
- 2% on initial funds invested by the first two affiliates Downline Team 3 affiliates personally sponsor
- 5% on subsequent investments by the first two affiliates Downline Team 3 affiliates personally sponsor
- 1% on initial funds invested by the third, fourth and fifth affiliates Downline Team 3 affiliates personally sponsor and
- 3% on subsequent investments by the third, fourth and fifth affiliates Downline Team 3 affiliates personally sponsor
The 2% and 5% commission carries on for the first 2 sponsored affiliates within Downline Team 3 down to infinity.
The 1% and 3% commission carries on for the 3rd, 4th and 5th sponsored affiliates within Downline Team 3 down to infinity.
Downline Team 4 is made up of the 9th and onward sponsored affiliates who invest.
To sum up, affiliates earn:
- 9% on initial funds invested by Downline Team 4 affiliates
- 18% on subsequently invested funds by Downline Team 4 affiliates
- 8% on subsequently invested funds by the first two affiliates Downline Team 4 affiliates personally sponsor
- 2% on initial funds invested by the third, fourth and fifth affiliates Downline Team 4 affiliates personally sponsor
- 6% on subsequently invested funds by the third, fourth and fifth affiliates Downline Team 4 affiliates personally sponsor
- 1% on initial funds invested by the sixth, seventh and eighth affiliates Downline Team 4 affiliates personally sponsor
- 3% on subsequently invested funds by the sixth, seventh and eighth affiliates Downline Team 4 affiliates personally sponsor
The 2% commission carries on for the 3rd, 4th and 5th sponsored affiliates within Downline Team 4 down to infinity.
The 1% commission carries on for the 6th, 7th and 8th sponsored affiliates within Downline Team 4 down to infinity.
Generational Bonus
If a Downline Team 4 affiliate creates their own Downline Team 4 group, that downline will not pay out Level-up commissions.
Any commissions earned on invested and reinvested funds by these affiliates and their downlines are paid out through the Generational Bonus.
The 1st Generational Bonus is made up of the Downline Team 4 group of affiliates of your personally sponsored Downline Team 4 affiliates.
The company pays a 1% commission on initial funds invested and 2% on reinvestment by this 1st generation.
The 2nd Generational Bonus is made up of the Downline Team 4 group of affiliates of your personally sponsored Downline Team 4 affiliates.
The company pays a 0.5% commission on initial funds invested and 1% on reinvestment by this 2nd generation.
The 3rd Generational Bonus is made up of the Downline Team 4 group of affiliates sponsored by the 2nd generation.
The company pays a 0.5% commission on initial funds invested and 1% on reinvestment by this 3rd generation.
Cost To Join CryptoGold
The cost to join CryptoGold as an affiliate is $79, in addition to a minimum investment of $50.
In order to fully participate in the company compensation plan, an affiliate must invest at least $500.
Verdict on CryptoGold
While this company features an incredibly complicated compensation plan structure, the truth about how to earn is clear to see…
You must recruit in order to make money…
There are no real products or services that are sold to affiliates or retail customers….
Therefore, there is nothing of real value to offer…
And once recruitment slows down, which it almost always does…
Affiliates will start looking elsewhere for a more steady stream of income….
And this is when companies tend to collapse and close up shop….
