There has been a lot of buzz about this company, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about…

I know you might have a lot of questions…

And if you are brand new to the business, will you succeed?

We are going to address those questions and put some rumors to rest because I am going to walk you through the company, its products and the compensation plan so you can make the right decision.

Cerule Review – The Company

Cerule Review

When the company first started, it was originally named Desert Lake Technologies, and it operated within the nutritional supplements MLM niche.

“Klamath Falls’ Antarctica” was also found to be another name for this company as shown in regulatory records.

Desert Lake Technologies was opened in 1999, and it was in 2014 when the company transformed its name into Cerule.

This USA company, based out of Oregon, is a family-owned company, with Greg Newman named as the CEO heading up the company.

Referring to Newman’s corporate biography from Cerule:

Greg is a co-founder of and original investor in Cerule, a company started by his father in 1999.

In January 2014, after the passing of his father, Greg assumed the role of President and CEO of Cerule and has been focused in continuing the legacy and vision his father had to build Cerule into a science-based global nutritional supplement business that brings benefit to people’s health and well being in a wholistic way.

Before Newman joined the company, he worked with technology and alternative energy businesses.

From what I could dig up about this CEO, this is the first venture for Newman as an MLM executive.

Cerule Products

The company advertises a variety of “scientifically researched, safe, potent, high-quality, and efficacious microalgae-based ingredients called Algaceuticals”.

The products are made in-house, the company itself is a “raw material manufacturer”.

The featured products on the company’s website are:

StemEnhance Ultra – “Combines extracts from nature’s most primitive superfoods, freshwater microalgae and marine macroalgae, providing the body with the ultimate in stem cell support”
PlasmaFlo – “A proprietary blend of proteolytic and fibrinolytic enzymes, concentrated plant extracts and potent antioxidants formulated to support the integrity of capillaries and improve the flowing properties of blood”
Cyactiv – “A proprietary phycocyanin extract from Spirulina … proven to help balance and calm systemic inflammation”

The company’s products individually sell for $79 per bottle.

The Cerule Compensation Plan

The company affiliates get paid to sponsor new affiliates and to maintain a downline team of affiliates in a unilevel team.

I think I can presume there may be retail commissions available to affiliates, though I found no mention of this in the company’s official documents of compensation.

Cerule Affiliate Ranks

In the company’s compensation plan there are 9 ranks:

Here are the ranks and their qualifying criteria:

IBO – Generate 50 PV and 50 GV a month
1K – Generate 100 PV and 1000 GV a month
3K – Generate 200 PV (100 PV if autoship) and 3000 GV a month
7.5K – Generate 300 PV (150 PV if autoship) and 7500 GV a month (no more than 4500 GV from any one unilevel leg)
15K – Generate 400 PV (200 PV if autoship) and 15,000 GV a month (no more than 9000 GV from any one unilevel leg)
25K – Generate 500 PV (200 PV if autoship) and 25,000 GV a month (no more than 15,000 GV from any one unilevel leg)
50K – Maintain 500 PV (200 PV if autoship) and 50,000 GV a month (no more than 25,000 GV from any one unilevel leg)
100K – Maintain 500 PV (200 PV if autoship) and 100,000 GV a month (no more than 50,000 GV from any one unilevel leg)
President – Maintain 500 PV (200 PV if autoship) and 200,000 GV a month (no more than 100,000 GV from any one unilevel leg)
Chairman – Maintain 500 PV (200 PV if autoship) and 500,000 GV a month (no more than 250,000 GV from any one unilevel leg)

The meaning of PV is “Personal Volume” and it is the total sales volume accumulated in retail sales plus the affiliate’s own personal product orders.

The meaning of GV is “Group Volume” and it is the PV accumulated by an affiliate’s downline.

Recruitment Commissions

Company affiliates can earn a sponsorship payment to sponsor new affiliates.

The amount of commission paid to the affiliate is measured by the amount of money a newly sponsored affiliate invests:

Sponsor a Starter Kit affiliate and earn $10
Sponsor a Fast Start Pack affiliate and earn $100
Sponsor a Fast Start Ultra Pack affiliate and earn $300
Fast Start Mega Pack – $900

The upline of affiliate sponsoring new affiliates will also receive a Matching Bonus at a rate 50%:

Starter Kit – $5
Fast Start Pack – $50
Fast Start Ultra Pack – $150
Fast Start Mega Pack – $450

Residual Commissions

Through the company’s compensation model, it states they will pay residual commissions.

A unilevel compensation model puts an affiliate on the top of a unilevel team, then every personally sponsored affiliate is positioned directly beneath them onto level 1.

When level 1 affiliates sponsor new affiliates, he or she is then put onto a new level, thus creating level 2 of the original affiliates unilevel team.

When level 2 affiliates sponsor new affiliates, he or she is put onto level 3 and so on and so forth down a hypothetical never ending number of levels.

However, the company does put a cap to payable levels, limiting unilevel teams to 7 levels where residual commissions will be paid out based on sales volume achieved.

The affiliate rank will determine the number of unilevel levels that pay out the residual commissions:

IBO – 10% on level 1 (personally sponsored affiliates)
1K – 10% on level 1 and 5% on level 2
3K – 10% on level 1, 5% on level 2 and 7% on level 3
7.5K – 10% on level 1, 5% on level 2, 7% on level 3 and 5% on level 4
15K and 25K – 10% on level 1, 5% on level 2, 7% on level 3 and 5% on levels 4 and 5
50K – 10% on level 1, 5% on level 2, 7% on level 3 and 5% on levels 4 to 6
100K – 10% on level 1, 5% on level 2, 7% on level 3, 5% on levels 4 to 6 and 1% on level 7
President and Chairman – 10% on level 1, 5% on level 2, 7% on level 3, 5% on levels 4 to 6 and 3% on level 7

Matching Bonus

A Matching Bonus is paid to affiliates by the company on residual commissions earned by downline affiliates who are in the ranks of 25K and higher.

The company also caps the Matching Bonus payable levels (only 3 levels down) of sponsorship by use of the same unilevel team model the residual commissions are paid.

25K affiliates receive a 3% match on level 1, 2% on level 2 and 1% on level 3
50K affiliates receive a 4% match on level 1, 3% on level 2 and 2% on level 3
100K and higher affiliates receive a 5% match on level 1, 4% on level 2 and 3% on level 3

Bonus Pools

The company takes 3% of company-wide sales revenue and deposits that money into 3 separate pools.

These 3 pools are directly linked to the ranks of: 100K, President and Chairman.

These ranking affiliates receive an equal share in the pools that are directly linked with their rank of 100K, President and Chairman

Note: The 100K pool is paid out once a month, the President and Chairman pools are paid out once a year.

Car Bonus

The monthly Car Bonus is earned by affiliates in the 15K or higher ranks:

15K – $150
25K – $250
50K – $500
100K – $750
President – $1000
Chairman – $1500

Travel Rewards

Company affiliates who remain qualified at the 50K rank for 4 consecutive months will get a spot booked on the company organized “50K Extraordinary Getaway”.

President or Chairman company affiliates who remain qualified here for 8 out of 12 months (every year) are rewarded with a Presidents Club Extraordinary Destination Week vacation.

Cost To Join Cerule

The cost to join Cerule as an affiliate is the company membership, which does require the purchase of an Affiliate Pack listed below:

Starter Kit – $69 (one bottle of product)
Fast Start Pack – $269 (six bottles of product)
Fast Start Ultra Pack – $1000 (twenty bottles of product)
Fast Start Mega Pack – $3000 (sixty-five bottles of product)

Bottled products purchased can be a combination of any of the 3 product lines offered by Cerule.

Verdict on Cerule

SO do you think the Cerule scam exists?

To be honest…

It’s NOT a scam, in fact, it’s been running strong since 2014 so that should say something.

Not only that, it has real retail products that can be sold to customers and a fair compensation plan to back it up.

The only thing I would do is actually try the products and see if you like them.

Let’s face it…

If you don’t like the products, why would you even push this company?

Make sense right?

For me personally, I like taking the digital route because I don’t have to do any home parties, 3 way calls or walking around Walmart to get customers…
